With sponsorship by Energy Photovoltaics, Inc. (EPV), Dr. Anamika Patel has been awarded a New Jersey Technology Fellowship by the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology. Dr. Patel, who recently received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, joined EPV's Research and Development Department earlier this month. The Fellowship is expected to run for two years. A one-year contract between the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology and EPV has been executed, and a second one-year contract is anticipated contingent upon satisfactory research progress. Dr. Patel will develop new materials and processes designed to increase the conversion efficiency of EPV's thin-film modules.
